The North America Talent Cup offers a similar level of performance, but on race bikes rather than improved street bikes. The STG MotoAmerica Junior Cup has become the first rung of professional racing for young riders in the United States in recent years. “The new North American Talent Cup will most certainly serve our goal of developing more young riders who are eager to compete and represent the United States internationally,” said Wayne Rainey, President of Moto America. Rise Moto and Moto America will be the promoters and organizers of the series, and AMA will be the sanctions body. The opening race is part of the MotoGP Weekend at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas, and the last race is part of the last MotoAmerica Race Weekend at Barber Motorsports Park, Alabama. Most of the seven NATC races in 2022 will be held as part of the national WERA race weekend, but the kids in the Talent Cup will also get in touch with the pros. Now the formula is coming to North America in 2022.

Following the Asian Talent Cup, series were held in the UK and Northern Europe.
It excludes many of the world’s hottest world championships, and Dorna, who runs MotoGP, first created it in 2014 by creating an opportunity for young riders in the world’s largest motorcycle market. Of the 21 riders in the premier class in all or most of the 2021 MotoGP season, 15 are from Spain or Italy and only 3 are from outside Europe.
